NANCY CHRISTINE NILES HEARN
Mrs. Nancy Niles Hearn, 57, died at her home on Wednesday, May 24, in Lexington after a brief illness
from cancer.
Mrs. Hearn was owner and operator of Nancy’s Restaurant and retired after managing Mims Convenient Stores for fourteen years. In her many years working in the food industry, Nancy fed many that could not afford food. She was never too busy to sit down and have a cup of coffee with a troubled friend or help anyone she could in any way.
Survivors include: Husband, John N. Hearn, Jr., of Lexington, daughters, Mrs. Johanna Johnson (Aubrey), Mrs. Donna Flint (Nolan), Mrs. Christine Hammet (Richard) of Lexington and Mr. Donald Hearn (Virginia) of Yazoo City and one brother, Mr. Richard Niles (Doris) of Orlando, FL.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Rich, Hal and Christina Hammet, Christy, Jamie and John Flint, Dixie and Danielle Hearn.
Visitation was Friday, May 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington, MS.
Interment was Saturday, May 27 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington, MS.
