Obituary
Janet Whitehead Herrman

Janet Whitehead Herrman, 87, of Jackson died Sunday, July 20, 2003 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Graveside services were Monday, July 21, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington. Rev. Dale VanNess officiated.

Mrs. Herrman was the daughter of the late William Cary Whitehead and Roberta Harseim. She was a retired schoolteacher. She graduated from high school in Indianola and attended the University of Mississippi and Vanderbilt University. Mrs. Herrman was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include: one daughter, Betty V. Herrman of Atlanta, Georgia and one brother, Cary Whitehead of Memphis, Tennessee.

Donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 103 Church Street, Lexington, MS 39095.
