Obituary
M. E. Holloman Dies Tuesday Services Today
Miles Edward Holloman, prominent Lexington businessman, died at Holmes County Community Hospital Tuesday night after an extended illness. He was 54.
Funeral services are to be held at 10 oclock this morning (Thursday) at First Methodist Church in Lexington with the Reverend Crawford Ray officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery with Masonic Rites at graveside. Southern Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Owner and operator of Holloman's Machine and Supply Company for a number of years, Mr. Holloman was a member or First Methodist Church and a mason.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Billie Prater Holloman; one son, Miles Edward, Jr., two daughters, Harriett Lynn and Elizabeth Carol, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Holloman, all of Lexington; two brothers. J. C. Holloman of Grenada and J. W. Holloman of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Duke of Bermuda Islands, Mrs. Elizabeth Hull of Bay Springs, Mrs. Walton Murphy of Lexington, and Mrs. Irene Harthcock of St. Louis.
