Amy A. Ingold of Madison, 72, died Friday, December 17, 2004 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
Services were held at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington, Monday, December 20 at 3:00 p.m. with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington. Rev. Mike O'Brien officiated.
Mrs. Ingold was born on August 8, 1932 in Tishomingo County. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Linda and Judy; her sister, Martha Jo Ables; and her brothers, Billy, Hubert, and Herbert.
Mrs. Ingold worked as a server at the Power House Restaurant and as a member of the Lexington Police Force. She later trained to become a lab technician and X-ray technician at Durant Community Hospital.
Survivors include: husband, Virgil O. Ingold, Jr.; son, Johnny Morgan; sisters, Peggy Cochran of Wichita Falls, Texas, Pauline Roberson of Isola, Annie Mae Grantham, Dorothy Grantham, and Elizabeth Grantham, all of Lexington; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Hayes Grantham, Matt Hathcock, Buddy Hathcock, Richard Chisolm, Danny Ingold, and Jeffie Alford.
