Obituary
James Rogers Waldrup
James Rogers Waldrup, 55, died unexpectedly late Monday at Holmes County Hospital of an apparent heart attack.

A native of Holmes County, he was the son of the late Mr. A. J. Waldrup and Mrs. Lillah Hester Waldrup. He was a Veteran of World War Two having served in the Merchant Marines.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 2 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home in Lexington. The Rev. Michael O’Brien, pastor of First Baptist Church was the officiating minister.

Survivors include one son, James Robin Waldrup and a grandson, Donavan Waldrup, both of Houston, Texas: a sister, Mrs. Mary Frances Stephens of Corinth; two aunts, Mrs. Jessie P. Mayo and Mrs. Alba Weems, both of Lexington: and an uncle, Jimmy Hester of Lexington.
