Obituary

JEAN CHISHOLM

Johnnie Jean Chisholm, 79, of Lexington, Miss., homemaker, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Lexington Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Southern Funeral Home. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Pallbearers were Donnie Lay, Donnie Chisholm, Corey McBride, Hunter Chisholm, Jonathan McBride and Christopher Truitt. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Charles Campbell, Dr. John Downer and Billy McFarland. Rev. Randy Hill officiated.

Survivors are sons, Don Chisholm (Sharon) of Lexington, Ronnie Chisholm (Kathy) of Lexington and Brent Chisholm (Kristen) of Lexington; daughters, Debbie Killebrew (Dennis) of Lexington, Vivian McBride (Johnnie) of Lexington and Judy Nations of Tupelo; sister, Ella Mae Lay of Pigeon Forge, TN; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Chisholm was preceded in death by husband, T.O “Red” Chisholm; son, Billy Chisholm; sisters, Mary Alice McFarland, Elizabeth Lou Howell and Sudie Ree Mason; and one brother, G.S. Mason.
