Obituary
John Edgar Willoughby
Funeral services for John Edgar Willoughby, 72, of Lexington were held from Southern Funeral Home chapel in Lexington at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30 with Rev. Andy Ray officiating. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mr. Willoughby a retired railroad express agent, died at his residence on Friday, August 29. He was a Methodist and a World War II veteran. He had lived In Pascagoula from 1943 until he returned to Lexington in 1977.

Survivors include his wife, Ella Mae Malone Willoughby of Lexington, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Frances Davis of Wiggins.

Pallbearers were “Billy” Roy Baker, Doyle Gilmore, Danny Malone, Sam P. Brown, Ed Barrentine and Paul Hale.
