Obituary

Mary Johnson

Mrs. Mary Ella Cash Johnson, 87, of Lexington, died Saturday at Hinds General Hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, from Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend E.S. Furr officiating. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson was a native of Sunflower County, and a member of Oregon Methodist Memorial Church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Henry Stewart, Lexington, and Mrs. Harley Womack, Florence, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Harvey Womack, Hiram Womack, Henry Stewart, Gilbert Bradley, Harry Stewart, Larry B. Johnson, Wade Logan, Wayne Clanton and Bob McLellan. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Wesley Bailey, Bennie Byrd, J.M. Fryer, Dimond Klonaris, T.W. Ware and Tandy Stepp.
