Miss Minnie P. Jordan

Miss Minnie P. Jordan, 99, died Monday at the Holmes County Community Hospital where she had been a patient for three days.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan.9 from Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Pratt officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Miss Jordan, a native of Holmes County, was born February 12, 1880. She was a lifelong residence of Holmes County where she served as Circuit Clerk for forty years, and was held in high esteem by all who knew her. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Joe Moore, Calvin Moore, Henry McClellan, E.T. Neilson, Lynn Jordan and Mike Lammons.
