Mrs. Julia Barrentine Gilmore
Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Barrentine Gilmore, 76, of Lexington were held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14 from Southern Funeral Home chapel in Lexington with Rev. Andy Ray and Dr. Michael O’Brien officiating. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
Mrs. Gilmore, a retired nurse’s aide and a member of Oregon Memorial Church, died at Methodist Hospital of Middle Mississippi in Lexington on Friday, December 12. She was a native of Holmes County.
Survivors include; three brothers-Clifton Barrentine of Hattiesburg, Ben F. Barrentine of Starkville, and James R. Barrentine of Lexington; and one sister - Mrs. Sue Bellina of New Orleans.
Pallbearers were James Edward Killebrew, Jr., Reuben Netherland, Paul Weems, John Hathcock, Calvin Moore and Joey Netherland.
