Obituary
Isaac Read King, Sr.
Isaac Read King, Sr., 89, of Lexington died Saturday at Holmes County Community Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a. m. Monday, May 26 from Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leslie Nabors officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mr. King was a native of Haywood County, Tenn., a son of John Holloway King and Sarah Ann Read King. He had lived in Lexington since 1931 where he was in the farm implement business. He was a lifetime member of the Administrative Board, First United Methodist Church in Lexington.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise Alison King; two daughters, Mrs. Carol King Cochran of Jackson and Mrs. Malissa King Temple of Lexington; three sons, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Isaac R. King, Jr., of Lexington, Daily Alison King of Lincoln, Ark., and Louis A. King of Nesbitt; one sister, Mrs. Mary Smoot of Brownsville, Tenn.; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jeff Cochran, Larry Kerr, Jimmy King, Andy King, Louis King, John King, John Vick and Daily King.
