Lillie McLellan

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Rodgers McLellan, 74, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, from the First Baptist Church with the Reverend Gus Merritt assisted by the Reverend David Pratt of Winona, officiating. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery with Southern Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McLellan died Monday at the Holmes County Community Hospital where she had been a patient for four days.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Irby Ellington of Lexington; two sons, Bill McLellan and Bob McLellan of Lexington; two brothers, Lorinzo Rodgers of Belzoni and Cunningham Rodgers of Jackson; one sister, Mrs. Herbert Williamson of Meridian and five grandchildren, Miss Lanelle McLellan, Miss Robin McLellan, Miss Lydia McLellan, Billy McLellan, all of Lexington, and Edward Ellington of Jackson; and one great grandson, Will Ellington of Jackson.

Pallbearers were Billy Rodgers, Irby Tate, Earl Tate, R.A. Rodgers, Bob Williamson, L. E. Williamson, Frankie McCrory and Hardy Harris.
