Funeral Services For Mrs. Lipsey Held Nov. 27
Funeral services for Mrs. Willie May Lipsey were held Saturday, November 27, at 2 p.m. from Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with rev. Howard Allen and Rev Gus Merritt officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mrs. Lipsey, 70, of R.F.D. Lexington, died Friday, November 26, at Holmes County Community Hospital.

A native of Simpson County, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Thomas Gibson and Callie Williams Gibson.

A retired secretary for Farm Bureau Insurance Company, Mrs. Lipsey was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lexington.

She is survived by her Husband J. R. Lipsey of Lexington; one daughter. Mrs. F. C. For of Vicksburg; three sons, Lt. Col. Edward G. Lipsey, Adana, Turkey; John T. Lipsey, Jackson, Mississippi; and William L. Lipsey, Southaven, Mississippi; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie Fusaro, Baltimore, Maryland; and Mrs. Carolyn Teunnisson, Mendenhall, Mississippi; and twelve grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ray Johnson, Bob McLellan, Henry Hearn, Mills Martin, R.S. Richman, Ed Tye Neillson. Honorary pallbearer was J.R. Gilfoy.
