Obituary
Wade Logan
Funeral services for Wade Logan, 85, of Lexington were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 10 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating ministers were Rev. C. J. Smith and Rev. Doug Applegate. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
Mr. Logan died Wednesday, November 7, 2001 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A native of Leake County, he was the son of the late, William T. and Ethel Logan. He was a retired parts salesman for Lexington Implement in Lexington. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Oregon Memorial Church for the past 50 years, where he served as a steward.
Survivors include: two sisters, Iva Mae Sullivan of Pawcatuck, Connecticut and Hilda Knight of Clinton; five nephews and three nieces.
Serving as pallbearers were: Larry Killebrew, Harvey Hearn, Billy Zeigler, Floyd Autry, Carl Rodgers, and James Edward Killebrew.
