Obituary M. G. Brough Rites Held This Afternoon Funeral services for Marvin George Brough, 77, were held this (Thursday) afternoon at the Southern Funeral Home in Lexington at 4:30 p. m. The Reverend H. N. McKibben officiated assisted by the Rev. M. J. Peder, Methodist pastor of Lexington.
Mr. Brough, who had been a patient at a nursing home in Greenwood for about two month, passed away there last evening at 7:30 after an illness of sometime.
A native of Holmes county he had spent most of his life and lived for a number of years in the Bethesda community.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Josephine Williamson Brough, and a daughter, Mrs. Alvin King of West Point. One sister, Mrs. Daisy Ellington, of Lexington, also survives.
Interment was in Lexington cemetery with Southern Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
