Obituary
Marion McLellan

Funeral services for Marion McLellan, 81, of Lexington, were held Saturday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. in Southern Funeral Home Chapel of Lexington. Officiating minister was the Rev. Bobby Williamson. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mr. McLellan died Thursday, October 4 at Methodist Hospital of Middle Mississippi in Lexington.

A native of Holmes County, he was a retired parts man for Moses Ford Company in Lexington, a resident of Lexington Manor, a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, and was a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Mae Eubanks McLellan of Lexington; one son, Mickey McLellan of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Connie Moorhead and Elizabeth Evans, both of Lexington, and one grandson.

Serving as active pallbearers were Jack Farmer, Hilton Holley, Dutch Farmer, Jerry Evans, Bren Olswanger, and Bubba Holley.

Honorary pallbearers were Bill McLellan, Bob McLellan, Jack Martin, Vernon Hathcock, Vardaman Ellington, Willie Martin McBride, Roger McBride and Richard Ellis.
