Obituary

James B. McDade

James B. McDade, 87, of Jackson, a retired electrical engineer, died on Wednesday, April 1 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Services were held on Fnday, Apri1 3 at 2 p.m. at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial at 4 p.m. in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

A Lexington native, Mr. McDade lived in Jackson for 13 years. He was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church were he was a deacon. He retired from Illinois Central Railroad with 30 years of service. He was a 50 year member of Illinois Central Electrical Association.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy; a daughter, Patsy McDade McGahay of Columbus; a sister, Hannah McDade Gray of Winona; three grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
