Mrs. Adline Morris
Funeral Services for Mrs. Adline (Addie) Louise Morris, 76, wife of Otto O. Morris, were held Monday, June 29, at 3:00 p.m. from Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend David Pratt of Winona and the Reverend Gus Merritt officiating. Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris died Saturday at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson where she had been a patient for one day.
She was born January 25, 1898 in Petal, the daughter of John W. Williams and Candis Smith. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband; two sisters Mrs. Bert Scarbrock of Monroe, Louisiana and Mrs. Glenn Bonney of Bougalusa, La., three brothers. Jim Williams of Baton Rouge,La., John H. Williams of Denham Springs, La., and J.W. Williams of Folsom, La.
Pallbearers were Doty Porter, Frank Hughes, Marion Ginn, Billy Ellis, Jimmy East, and Bill Warrington.
