Obituary

Harrell Morris Dies
At Las Cruces, N. M.

Message was received here Sunday afternoon stating the death of Harrell Morris, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. 0. O. Morris, who died that day at Las Cruces. New Mexico, following an illness of two years.

Harrell was taken ill in 1936, the year of his graduation at the Lexington High School. After several months at a Mississippi hospital, he was carried to New Mexico in effort to regain his health. His condition showed a grave illness in recent months, death occuring Sunday. He was a fine boy, good student and took much interest in his school duties. He was a member of the Baptist church. Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Morris.

The body will be shipped here for burial and expected to arrive this weekend where final rites will be held, conducted by Rev. Judson Chastain.
