Obituary Mrs. Muzette Byrd Services for Muzette Byrd, 79, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 11 from Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Archie Meadows and Rev. Dudley Brown officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mrs. Byrd died Jan. 9 in North Sunflower Hospital in Ruleville. A native of Carroll County, she was the daughter of Milam O’Neal Huffman and Clara Williams Huffman. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Malcolm Bishop of Drew: two sons, W.A. Byrd of Oxford and W.M. Byrd of Wichita Falls, Texas: one sister, Mrs. Percy Crook of Vaiden; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dennis Jackson, Bill Byrd, Larry Barr, Ralph Tidmore, Lawrence Barr, and Ken Johnston,
