Obituary

Mrs. S. J. Nabors
Buried Here Wednesday

Funeral services were held at the grave at Odd Fellows cemetery Wednesday morning, June 1, at 11 o’clock for Mrs. S. J. Nabors, who died at the home of her daughter in Lamber Tuesday. The body was brought overland and services held in Lexington conducted by Rev. J. E. Stephens.

Mrs. Nabors formerly resided at Owens Wells for many years and was a woman beloved by many relatives and friends. She was a native of Carroll county and a member of the Methodist church. For many years she had been making her residence in the delta. Her passing grieves a host of friends in this community where she lived for many years.

She is survived by four children: Mrs. Alex Fowler, Lambert; Bernard Nabors, Birmingham, Ala.; Clarence Nabors, North Carolina, and Ernest Nabors. Also the following sisters, Mrs. W. W. Williams, Mrs. W. B. Lundy, Lexington, to whom sympathy is extended.
