LOUISE COOKSEY PETTUS
On February 3, 1999 Mrs. Louise Cooksey Pettus at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Barrett of Kosciusko. She was 82 years old. She was a native of Holmes County but had lived in Kosciusko for many years. She is the daughter of James Dillard Cooksey and Lovie Rainey.
She is survived by one son, Hansen of Kosciusko; daughters, Shirley Childs of Belzoni and Patricia Hamble of Texas; one sister, Edna Gentry of Pearcy, Arkansas; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were February 5, in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington with Jordan Funeral Home of Kosciusko in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Chris S~~~, John Childs, Carl Daves, John Bader, and Bill Barrett.
