Obituary

Willie McCaleb Rabb

Mrs. Willie McCaleb Rabb, 96, a homemaker of Meridian, died of pneumonia Tuesday, October 13 at Rush Memorial Hospital.

Services were held Saturday, October 17 at First United Methodist Church in Lexington with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Southern Funeral Home in Lexington handled arrangements.

Mrs. Rabb, a Lexington native, lived in Meridian the last 11 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington. She was the widow of Lawrence Rabb, Sr.

Survivors include: one son, Lawrence W. Rabb of Meridian; a daughter, Bettye Rabb VanderVeen of Granby, Colorado; three sisters, Maude Hayles of Cleveland, Mable McKinney of Indianola and Gertrude Bunch of Reform, Alabama; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Lexington.
