Elaine Schur Rich

Elaine Schur Rich, 71, of Cumming, GA, died on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Chestnut Ridge Nursing Home in Cumming, GA. Funeral services were held on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Temple Beth El in Lexington with burial in Beth El Cemetery in Lexington. Rabbi Valarie Cohen officiated.

Pallbearers were Brett Atkinson, Trey McGregor, Dick Atkinson, Jimmy McKinnon, Scott Brown and John Brown.

Mrs. Rich was born on July 30, 1936 to the late Nathan T. Schur and Ellen Applebaum Schur. She was a clerk at Schur Department store and a member of Temple Beth El in Lexington. She was preceded in death by her brother Edward Lewis Schur.

Survivors include: son Jeffrey Rich of Roswell, GA; daughter Suzanne Brown and husband Scott of Cumming, GA; and 3 grandchildren.
