Funeral Services For Mrs. McLellan Held Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Grace McLellan, 58, wife of Marion McLellan, were held Saturday, May 27, at 2 p.m. from Southern Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gus Merritt, Rev. David Pratt and Rev. Shelby Hathorn officiated, with interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Mrs. McLellan died Thursday at Holmes County Community Hospital after a lengthy illness.

A native of Homes County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Manuel and Adam L. Hathcock. She was a retired mercantile clerk, and a member of Oregon Memorial Church.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Micky McLellan of Starkvllle; three brothers, Vernon Hathcock of Lexington, W. W. Hathcock of Moss Point, and Aubrey Hathcock of Durant; and one grandchild, Andy.

Pallbearers were Vernon Roe Hathcock, Bubber Holley, Jimmy Hathcock, Buddy Hathcock, Ed Hathcock, Ricky Hathcock, Wesley Hodges and Danny Wynne.
