Ruth Rose Roach
Ruth Rose Roach, 93, a former homemaker of Lexington, died Saturday, January 5 at Grenada Medical Center in Grenada.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7 at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington with the Rev. Tom Hollowell officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Mrs. Roach was a Duck Hill native. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She had lived in Lexington for many years before moving to Grenada because of failing health.

She was the widow of James Monroe Roach.

Survivors include a sister, Lucile Rose Arnold of Memphis, Tennessee.

Pallbearers were Mack Grantham, Calvin Moore, Robert Draughon, Edward Schur, Ed Wilburn Hooker and Charles Ellison.
