Obituary
Sam P. Brown

Sam Piazza Brown 69, died Saturday November 20, 2010, at the Lexington Manor Senior Care after a long illness.

Sam was a beloved husband, father, friend, and teacher. He taught at Holmes Community College in Goodman for 24 years after receiving his degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Malone Brown of Lexington; his son, Zach Brown of Lexington, MS; a brother, John F. Brown of Memphis,TN; an aunt Freda Piazza of Rodney, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Monday, November 22, 2010, from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. at St. Thomas Catholic church rectory and the services will be Monday at 11 A.M. at St. Thomas Catholic Church With interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington, MS.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Staff of Jaquith Nursing Home and the Lexington Manor Senior Care and Continued Care Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, family request memorials to St Thomas Catholic Church or a favorite charity.

He Was preceded in death by his parents, Pearlie and Katie Piazza Brown.

Southern Funeral Home Of Lexington is in charge of the services.
