Mrs. Sample's Services Held March 16

Mrs. Rosa King Sample, 76, of Pickens died March 15 at Holmes County Community Hospital in Lexington.

Mrs. Sample, a native of Yazoo County, was the daughter or the late Richard King and Allie Mosley King. She was a member of St. Marys Episcopal Church.

Ale is survived by one son, Sam E. Sample, Jr., of Pickens; one daughter, Mrs. Mary F. Mosby of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Mary Holder, Pass Christian, Mississippi; and eight grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday, March 16, at 2:00 p.m. from Saint Mary's Episcopal Church with Reverend Tom Waggener, assisted by Father Daniel Novak officiating. Burial was in Odd Fellows cemetery with Southern Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were Kirk Thomas, Bill Allen, Earl Lucas, Harris Humphrey, B. W. Humphrey, Jr., Willie Floyd, B.B. Bridgeforth, and A. B. Holder.
