Obituary
Sharkey Jack White
Funeral services for Sharkey Jack White, 63, of Lexington were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 13 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Rev. Andy Ray and Rev. Howard Allen officiated.

Mr. White died Saturday, May 10 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson.

He was a retired tractor mechanic, a member of First United Methodist Church and a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Maud Lundy White of Lexington; three sons, Charles Drue White and Bill White, both of Lexington, and Jack Lundy White of Whitfield; two daughters, Betty Lou Hale and Adelia Ann Richard, both of Pensacola, Florida; one brother, Charlie White of Jackson; two sisters, Ruth Meek and Elizabeth Moses, both of Lexington; 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Chick Weatheraby, Ted Batson, Joey Netherland, Dolph Hammett, Ed Ellison and Ray Johnson.
