Obituary 

Doyle L Smith

Doyle L. Smith, 76, of 1914 Spring Ridge Drive died Nov. 13, 1987, in St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital. Services are 11 a. m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial at 2:30 p.m. in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mr. Smith, a native of Zieglerville, had lived in Jackson since 1945. He was a member of Riverwood Bible Church and the Telephone Pioneers. He was a retired manager of director compilation for South Central Bell Telephone Co., retiring in 1976 with 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was owner of Pinedale Angus Farm in Lexington, which he managed from 1958 until 1981.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Inez Soncrant Smith; sons, Douglas M. Smith of Atlanta and William Doyle Smith of Los Angeles; brother, Herbert Smith of Kansas City, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
