Obituary
T.O. “RED” CHISHOLM
Thomas “Red” O’Ferrell Chisholm, 83, of Lexington, Miss., passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 23 at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington. Rev. Randy Hill officiated. Pallbearers were Hunter Chisholm, Dennie Killebrew, Jonathan McBride, Corey McBride, Ricky Tate, and Danny Tate.
Red was born September 1, 1930 to Bonnie Larue and Ruby Thornton Chisholm in Smith County. He was a Construction Engineer for Hammett Gravel Company for 36 years. He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Chisholm.
Survivors include: his wife Jean Chisholm of Lexington; sons, Don Chisholm, Ronnie Chisholm and Brent Chisholm, all of Lexington; daughters, Debbie Killebrew and Vivian McBride, both of Lexington; brothers, David Chisholm of Raleigh, Miss., and Jim Chisholm of Mize, Miss.; sisters,Mary Scott of Mize, Miss., Dee Noble of Pearl, Miss., Faye Darron of Madison, Miss., and Joyce Eastwood of Jackson, Miss.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
