Dorothy Jean Thomas
Dorothy Jean Thomas, 88, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Merit Health Central Hospital in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Thomas was born in Attala County to Lucille Hines and Upton Fowler, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Kelly Thomas. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 24, at Southern Funeral Home with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington. Jean is survived by her daughter Lynda Thomas-Beers of Castle Rock. CO; her brother Rupert Fowler of Ithaca, MI; her sister-in-law Jo Betty Thomas of Kosciusko, MS; and many nieces and nephews.
