Obituary
Wilson “Unk” Tingle
Funeral services for Wilson “Unk” Tingle, 88, of Lexington were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 13 at Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. Rev. Bill Garrison officiated. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.

Mr. Tingle died Sunday, August 11 of heart failure at Methodist Hospital of Middle Mississippi in Lexington.

He was a native of Leflore County, a retired school teacher, a member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington and an Air Force veteran of World War II.

Mr. Tingle is survived by one brother, John “Joe” Tingle of Lexington and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Billy Zeigler, Mack Phillips, Freddy Pate, Bob Gilfoy, Ed Ellison and Charles Lee Truitt.
