Virgil Frank Exum
Funeral services for Virgil Frank Exum of Pensacola, Florida and formerly of Lexington were held on Sunday, January 16 from the Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. The Rev. James Carr of Tchula was officiating minister. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
Mr. Exum, 72 and a retired railroad worker, died at the Magnolia Convalescent Center in Pensacola on Friday, January 14. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are a son, Kenith Exum of Pensacola, Florida; two brothers, Carl Exum and Rudolph Exum, both of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Gaskins, Mrs. Maybell Wood and Mrs. Marjorie Cribb, all of Atlanta, Georgia; three grandchildren: and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Mike Martin, Steve Martin, Mitch Corley, Bryan Fore, Oliver Harris and John Exum.
