Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Curtis Caldwell of Greenwood were held on Thursday, November 29 in Cruger Independent Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Glen Brown officiated.
Mrs. Caldwell died Tuesday, November 27 at Tchula at the age of 78. She was the widow of William Caldwell, a member of First United Methodist Church in Greenwood and a cashier.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Frank Gwin, Jr. of Tchula; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Curtis Lang of Waycross, Georgia: three grandsons, Wyatt Gwin, Curtis Gwin and Reginald Gwin and two great-grandchildren.
Interment was in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington with Southern Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Serving as active pallbearers were Kenneth Parrish, Lewis Massey, Earl Edwards, V.C. Fite, Jimmy Barrett and David Flemming.
