Obituary
Services Held For
Willard C. Sheehy
Funeral services were held for Mr. Willard C. Sheehy of Bowling Green, Monday, August 20 from the Bowling Green Methodist Church with the Rev. David Rhea, pastor officiating, assisted by the Rev. Curtis Ellis and the Rev. J. P. Neal, Jr. of Tchula.

Interment followed in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Lexington. Southern Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sheehy died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday about 10:00 a. m. in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mai Rhyne in Durant while visiting there.

He was born August 20, 1890 in the Bowling Green Community. He had lived his entire life there where he was engaged in farming and other interests.

He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Infantry Division in France and a member of the Bowling Green Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertha Morris Sheehy, two step sons, Alton Morris, Memphis and Larry Morris, Pickens, and one brother, Roger Sheehy of New Orleans.

Pallbearers were Thomas Phil Terry, Jerry Killebrew. Sam McLellan, Luther McLellan. Jr., Clements Sudbeck and W. R. McNeer.
