Brandon

William T. "Rabb" Roden passed away March 6, 2013. Rabb was born in Lexington, MS in 1971, where he spent his childhood days. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lexington, MS and graduated with honors at Central Holmes Academy, where he was President of his Senior Class. Rabb attained his Eagle Scout Award at a young age. His passion was sports where he was a member of the 1988 State Championship football team. He was also chosen to play in the North/South All Star game. Rabb carried his love for sports forward through involvement with his children.

Rabb is survived by his wife, Brandy Montgomery Roden; daughter, Erin Elizabeth Roden and son, William Hayes Roden. He is also survived by his parents, Veva and J.R. "Bob" Gilfoy; a step-brother, Bob Gilfoy and step sister, Hiller Banks Vinson.

His father, Thomas W. Roden, predeceased him.

Rabb was the grandson of Frances Wynne and the late Oscar T. Wynne and the late Charlie and Dot Roden and Bernice Roden.

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:30 pm on Saturday, March 9, at Southern Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2 pm at First Baptist Church in Lexington, MS. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington, MS. Rev. Mike O'Brien will officiate.
