Ricky Lee Zeigler
Funeral services for Ricky Lee Zeigler, 30, of Brandon were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 3 from First Baptist Church in Lexington with Rev. Bobby Williamson, officiating minister, assisted by Rev. Mike O’Brien. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington with Southern Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at Methodist Hospital of Middle Mississippi in Lexington on Saturday, August 1st as a result of an automobile accident
Mr. Zeigler was a pharmacist and owner of The Medicine Shop in Jackson. He was a graduate of Central Holmes Academy in Lexington and the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. He was a native of Holmes County and a member of First Baptist Church in Lexington.
He is survived by his parents, William L. “Billy” Zeigler and Mary Ann Mayo Zeigler of Lexington; one brother, Mike Zeigler of Madison; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Eva McLellan of Jackson; and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Earl Shanks of Tchula; one nephew, and one niece.
Pallbearers were Dale Powers, Terry Brown, Doug Wilson, Kenny Ellis, Jimmy Yelverton, Alfred Porter, and Tim Smith.
