Bessie T. Lehman
Mrs. Bessie T. Lehman, 97, died December 22, 2001, at Hospice Center of East Texas.
She was a native of Carroll County with church membership at First Baptist Church in Lexington.
Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington. Southern Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are three daughters; Katherine Russell of Oxford, Evelyn Jewell Blackwell of Greenville, and Margaret Ranneskog of Mermaid Beach, Australia; one son Tony Lehman, Greenville, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Two sons preceded her in death, James Benford Lehman and Otis Watson Lehman.
