Lexington Boy Is Killed
In Action In Italy

Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Lehman received a wire Sunday, May 28 from the War Department stating that their son, Pvt. Benford Lehman had been killed in action at Anzio Beachhead in Italy on May 12.

Benford had been in service since September, 1943, receiving his basic training at Ft. McLellan, Alabama. He was eighteen years old, and would have been nineteen the 18th of June.

Survivors are his parents, three sisters, Katherine, Jewell, and Margaret, and two brothers, Watson and Tony.

Deepest sympathy is extended the family in their sad bereavement.
