Obituary
Doris Farish Moore

Doris Farish Moore, 81, housewife, mother and retired deputy circuit clerk, died on Monday, May 5, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, at 11 am from the First Baptist Church in Lexington. Visitation will be today from 6 until 8 pm from Southern Funeral Home in Lexington.

Survivors include: sons, Calvin A. "Buddy" Moore, Jr., and wife, Judy of Lexington and Joe Moore of Olive Branch; daughters, Brenda and husband, Robert White of Columbus, Pam and husband, Dr. John Downer, of Lexington, and Shelly and husband, Andy Ledbetter of Lexington; sisters, Jean Truitt and husband, Charles Lee of Lexington and Margie Bowman and husband, Elliott of Jackson; grandchildren, Alison Bridgeforth and husband, Rob of Nesbit, Rhodes Moore of San Diego, CA, Abe White and wife, Jae Hei of South Korea, Kala Phillips of Columbus, Benjamin Downer of Jackson, Theresa Downer of Austin, TX, Bryan Ledbetter of Starkville, and Logan Ledbetter of Lexington; and three great grandchildren.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin A. Moore, former Holmes County Circuit Clerk.

Memorial may be made to French Camp Academy, One Fine Place, French Camp, MS 39745.
