John Harrell Wilson, 77, of Lexington, MS went home to be with the LORD on Friday, November 21st, 2014.
Harrell was a faithful member of the Lexington Church of Christ. He served in the National Guard and was a dedicated employee of Peaster Tractor Company and the Lexington Industries until his retirement in 2005.
Prior to and following his retirement, Harrell spent his time serving family and friends with his mechanical talents and strong work ethic. Helping his children and grandchildren was truly his greatest joy. He will be greatly missed.
Harrell was preceded in death by his parents John Loyd and Hazel Tidmore Wilson. He is survived by a devoted wife, Faye Wynne Wilson; son, Todd (and Mitzi) Wilson of Pickens, and daughter, Alisha (and Robert) Bergin of Olive Branch and two grandchildren - Tyler Wilson Bergin and Tarah Elizabeth Bergin. Harrell also leaves behind a brother, Dink (and Betty Jo) Wilson of Lexington.
Services were held Saturday, November 22, 2:30 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Cancer Society. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.
